More women in the U.S. are drinking themselves to death, research finds

 According to the article:

"Deaths related to excessive alcohol consumption are rapidly rising in the United States, especially among women, a new study finds.

While drinking is still killing more men than women, the rate of alcohol-related deaths is rising faster among women, according to the report published Friday in JAMA Network Open."

That could make a substantial dent in the 88,000 deaths each year caused by alcohol, as well as $224 billion in economic costs. Most of those problems are caused by drinkers who aren't alcoholics, Frieden sad."

All You Can Drink Cruises - Controversy

I'm glad to hear that "all you can drink" packages are rolling out, Cruise Critic: Cruise and Booze: All-You-Can-Drink Packages Coming From Royal Caribbean.

We drink a fair amount on cruises, so the convenience of a package makes sense to me. However, there's a buzz of controversy. Cruise Critic Editor in Chief, Carolyn Spencer Brown, asks, "Will all-you-can-drink packages encourage people to drink to excess, or simply offer a convenient and money-saving option for those with big bar bills?"
