Tiger Woods cards a 10 on notorious par-three hole at Masters to make history for all the wrong reasons - CNN

Uggggh!

Read the full article:  Tiger Woods cards a 10 on notorious par-three hole at Masters to make history for all the wrong reasons - CNN

According to the article:

"The 155-yard par-three 12th is fronted by Rae's Creek and, with three bunkers to the rear, it is a treacherous test for even the best, as the 15-time major champion found to his cost on Sunday.

In last year's Masters it was his close rivals Francesco Molinari, Brooks Koepka, Ian Poulter and Tony Finau who all found the water in front of the green, but this time Woods did so three times on his way to a 10 -- the highest single-hole score of his professional career."

At a very different Masters, Tiger Woods looked exactly the same as always - ESPN

Read the source article: At a very different Masters, Tiger Woods looked exactly the same as always - ESPN

According to the article:

"Woods went the entire round without a bogey, a first for him on opening day at the Masters and the first time in any major round since the 2009 PGA Championship -- a span of 105 rounds.

Woods hit 15 greens in regulation, always a good sign. He had no three-putts. He found 10 of 14 fairways, and for a November Masters, that is important because the rough is far more penal than we see in April.

Tiger Woods confident of adding to major tally at PGA Championship - CNN

According to the article:

"Asked if he could win the PGA Championship, golf's first major of the calendar year amid a disrupted season, a smiling Tiger Woods had a simple answer for reporters.

"Of course," Woods said.

With no supporters in attendance at San Francisco's Harding Park, there will be no roaring atmosphere that Woods usually feeds off at majors, nor will there be the usual horde of fans tailgating him around the course."

Is red wine good for your heart? Yes, but only in moderation — here's how much you should drink - Insider

Is red wine good for your heart? Yes, but only in moderation — here's how much you should drink - Insider

According to the article:

"Research has found that drinking red wine — in moderation — can be good for your heart. However, consuming too much red wine, or any alcohol, is particularly bad for your heart, and can increase your risk for heart disease.  ...

Red wine can lower cholesterol. The polyphenols in red wine have antioxidant properties. This means they prevent or reduce the oxidation of low-density lipoproteins (LDLs), the "bad" type of cholesterol molecules we carry in our bloodstream.   ...

Drinking several glasses of red wine throughout the week can be part of a heart healthy lifestyle. But in general, you shouldn't drink more than one or two glasses each night."

Break out the tumblers. The price of wine is dropping fast - CNN

According to the article:
The price of wine is expected to drop to its lowest levels in five years thanks, in part, to a surplus of California grapes.
Combined with a decreased demand for wine, drinkers can expect to get better value for every drop they drink this year. The cheaper prices may even last up to three years.
Rob McMillan, founder of Silicon Valley Bank's Wine Division and author of the annual State of the Wine Industry report, predicts US wine consumers will enjoy the "best wine retail values in 20 years."

The United States win their tenth Presidents Cup

"That was the final day of the most unique week for Tiger Woods, who for the first time in his legendary career was the captain of a U.S. national team. Along the way, he also added playing responsibilities. Doing something -- again -- that few people have ever done.

The ending, of course, turned out to be a familiar one for Woods. He was the best player on the winning team, the Americans claiming the Presidents Cup, 16-14."

"I cried because I watched Tiger Woods do something so many people thought he couldn’t: win another Masters. Many sportswriters had written off the possibility of Tiger ever winning another major again, let alone the most important one.
I wasn’t alone. As we all watched Tiger drop his last putt at Augusta National, we witnessed a very different man celebrating his fifth Masters win. A man who exploded with joy when the ball dropped in the hole. Real, unadulterated joy."
What a win!  Congrats to Tiger!

Tiger Woods no swing coach because of back fusion ESPN Golf

Read the full article:  Tiger Woods no swing coach because of back fusion ESPN Golf:

""The only big deal about it is that no one really understands what it's like to have a fused back and be able to play,'' said Woods, referring to the April back surgery, his fourth, that fused the vertebrae in his lower back. "It's not about how the swing actually looks like. You can get into positions and things of that nature and there are a lot of things I can't do anymore because of the nature of the fusion.

"So I'm relying on feel and my past performances.''"
